Smart glasses with camera and AI assistant
Our Cam Series puts a camera, speakers, microphones and an AI assistant into one frame. Shoot photos and video from your point of view, take calls with noise reduction, listen to music and ask the built-in assistant questions, all without picking up your phone. Three models are available: Cam Aura, Cam Royale and Cam Spire, from ₹9,790.
What are the benefits of smart glasses with camera?
The biggest benefit is capturing a moment without stopping to hold up a phone. Because the camera sits at eye level, photos and videos show exactly what you saw, whether that is a road trip, a cooking demo, a walk through a market or your child's birthday. Your hands stay free, so you can keep cycling, carrying or playing while you record. Content creators use them for point-of-view clips, and travellers use them to document a day without constantly reaching for a phone. The same glasses also handle Bluetooth calls with dual-mic ENC noise reduction, music through open-ear speakers and a built-in AI assistant, so you are not paying only for a camera. Our guide to capturing moments with camera glasses has more everyday examples.
How do you take photos and videos with smart glasses with camera?
Each Cam model has physical buttons plus touch controls on the temple. You press to take a photo or start and stop a video, and the camera's anti-shake helps keep footage steady while you walk or move. A recording indicator light on the frame lights up for videos and photos. We suggest clips of up to about 15 minutes; the maximum is about 30 minutes, as longer clips can make the frame warm. Files are saved to the glasses' internal memory: 4GB on Cam Aura and Cam Royale, and 32GB on Cam Spire, which suits people who record longer clips. When you are ready, open the HeyCyan app and transfer photos, videos and audio to your phone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, then edit or share them as usual. The quick-start card and user manual in the box walk you through pairing the glasses with the app the first time.
What can the AI assistant on camera glasses do?
All three Cam models include a built-in AI assistant, which is different from the phone voice assistant access found on our audio models. On Cam Aura and Cam Royale you wake it with your voice and can ask general questions through AI Q&A, identify what you are looking at with AI object recognition, and use AI translation when you are travelling or speaking with someone in another language. Cam Spire offers voice assistant, AI Q&A, object recognition and translation too. Since the assistant can use the camera, it can answer questions about what is in front of you, which audio-only glasses cannot do. You can still use Siri or Google Assistant over Bluetooth as well.
Which smart glasses with camera should I buy?
All three models share the core features: camera with anti-shake, AI assistant with translation, dual-mic ENC calling, magnetic charging and support for single-vision power lenses. The differences are in the camera sensor, storage and style. Here is how they compare:
- Cam Aura: Sony 8MP camera, 4GB storage, up to 12 hours playback, up to 10 days standby, from ₹9,790
- Cam Royale: Sony 8MP camera, 4GB storage, up to 12 hours playback, up to 10 days standby, from ₹10,790
- Cam Spire: 12MP camera with anti-shake, 32GB storage, 10–12 hours playback, two sizes (Small, Large) and three colours, from ₹12,590
How long does the battery last on smart glasses with camera?
Cam Aura uses a 290mAh battery and Cam Royale a 260mAh battery, and both are rated for up to 12 hours of playback with up to 10 days of standby. Cam Spire is rated for 10 to 12 hours of playback with up to 10 days of standby. These playback figures refer to audio use such as music and calls. Recording video and using the AI assistant draw more power, so if you shoot a lot of footage, expect to charge sooner than the playback figure suggests. All three models charge magnetically with the cable in the box. If you lose or damage that cable, you can order the matching model's replacement from our chargers page.
Is it okay to record with smart glasses with camera in public?
Treat camera glasses the way you would treat your phone camera, with a little extra care because people may not notice the recording light on the frame. Follow local laws and the rules of the place you are in, and ask for consent before photographing or filming people, especially in private settings. Many cinemas, exam halls, hospitals, offices and places of worship restrict photography, so check before you record. Do not record or operate the glasses in a way that distracts you while driving. Used respectfully, camera glasses are a convenient way to capture your own experiences. If you would prefer glasses without a camera for work or personal reasons, see our Bluetooth smart glasses.
