Affordable smart glasses under ₹5,000
Every model on this page starts below ₹5,000 and gives you Bluetooth calling, music through open-ear speakers and hands-free voice assistance. Ten models are listed here, from Shade Shift at ₹1,990 to Lite Breeze at ₹4,390, sorted by price so you can compare quickly.
What features do smart glasses under ₹5,000 offer?
At this price you get proper audio smart glasses. Every model takes and rejects Bluetooth calls, plays music, lets you switch songs from the frame and gives you hands-free access to Siri or Google Assistant. Speakers are open-ear, so you stay aware of your surroundings. Batteries range from 100mAh to 220mAh, giving 5 to 8 hours of playback and up to 10 days of standby. All models except Lite Air and Shade Shift charge magnetically, and Shade Shift uses Type-C. Lenses depend on the model: UV protection, photochromic, colour-changing or sunglasses lenses. What you do not get under ₹5,000 is a built-in camera or the on-board AI assistant, which are only on our camera models.

Are smart glasses under ₹5,000 worth buying?
If you mainly want calls and music without earbuds, yes. The core experience, hearing calls and songs through open-ear speakers and controlling them from the frame, is the same on a ₹2,790 model as it is on a premium one. Spending more mostly buys a camera, the built-in AI assistant, AI translation and a longer battery. Budget models also come with the same buying terms as our most expensive glasses: free shipping across India, a 7-day replacement for damaged or defective products and a 6-month warranty. The sensible approach is to avoid paying for features you will not use. If you know you want to take photos and video, a budget pair will not satisfy you. Many of these also make a practical present; see our smart glasses gifts guide by budget.
How long does the battery last on smart glasses under ₹5,000?
Playback ranges from 5 to 8 hours depending on the model. Lite Pilot and Lite Drift lead with 180mAh batteries, up to 8 hours of playback and up to 10 days of standby. Lite Neo is next with a 220mAh battery, up to 6 hours of playback and up to 10 days of standby. Shade Shift, Shade Urban, Lite Air, Lite Feather, Lite Flow, Lite Breeze and Action Velocity give up to 5 hours of playback, and all list up to 10 days of standby. Playback means continuous music or calls; if you only take a few calls a day, a single charge will usually last much longer than a working day.
Can I get smart glasses under ₹5,000 with power lenses?
Yes. Lite Air, Lite Flow, Lite Pilot, Lite Drift and Lite Feather all start under ₹5,000 and support single-vision prescription lenses. Keep in mind that lens upgrades add to the price shown here. Choosing Blue Tick or photochromic lenses can take some models above ₹5,000; for example, Lite Feather with photochromic lenses is ₹5,490. The exact price appears on the product page when you select your lens. Custom power lenses are delivered in about 7–14 working days, and bifocal and progressive lenses are not supported. To see every model that accepts eye power, including camera models, go to smart glasses with power lens.
Should I spend more than ₹5,000 on smart glasses?
Spend more only if you want features that budget models do not have. Above ₹5,000, the main step up is a built-in camera for hands-free photos and video, internal storage, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi transfer to your phone, dual-mic ENC noise reduction and a built-in AI assistant with voice wake-up, object recognition and AI translation. Battery life also rises to up to 12 hours of playback on Cam Aura and Cam Royale. Our smart glasses with camera start at ₹9,790. If your use is calls, music and voice commands, a model on this page does the job, and you can put the savings towards a Blue Tick or photochromic lens upgrade.
