Compared with everyday smart glasses, the frame sits closer and more securely so it does not slip on a bumpy road or a fast run, and the lenses are tinted to cut glare outdoors. Action Velocity follows this pattern. It has UV-protected sports sunglasses lenses, open-ear speakers for music and calls, a microphone for talking hands-free, and touch slide controls on the temple. You can also use your phone's voice assistant and control your phone's camera remotely, so you can start a photo or video on your phone without reaching for it.
What are the benefits of sports smart glasses for running and cycling?
They solve two common problems at once: glare and earphones. Tinted, UV-protected lenses help you see the road or track in bright sun, and open-ear audio means you get music, pace prompts from your fitness app or a call from home without blocking your ears. That matters on Indian roads, where you need to hear horns, vehicles and other riders. Earbuds can also fall out mid-run or get uncomfortable with sweat; speakers on the frame avoid that. Touch slide controls let you change tracks or answer a call with a quick swipe, and voice assistance lets you ask your phone for directions or to call someone without breaking stride.

Can I use sports smart glasses at the gym or in the rain?
You can use Action Velocity for gym sessions, especially if you like music without earbuds while you train. The product page does not list a water or sweat resistance rating, so treat the electronics with care. Wipe off sweat from the frame and temples after each session with a dry cloth, and avoid wearing them in heavy rain or near a pool. If they do get wet, dry them before charging, because moisture on the magnetic charging contacts is best avoided. Can sports smart glasses record my ride or run?
Action Velocity does not have a built-in camera. What it does offer is remote camera control, so you can trigger your phone's camera to take a photo or start a video hands-free, for example with your phone mounted on your handlebars. If you want footage from your own point of view, you need a camera model. Outside a workout, Action Velocity works like any other pair of smart glasses: you take calls, listen to music, use voice assistance through your phone and get UV-protected lenses for driving in daylight, walking or a weekend outing. Because the lenses are tinted, they are not ideal indoors or at night.
